The purpose of the Hudson Catholic High School Wall of Honor is to recognize and honor those Hudson Catholic High School athletes, coaches, administrators, and supporters who excelled in their respective sports or coaching/support roles and who helped to bring honor, recognition, distinction, and excellence to Hudson Catholic High School by their conduct both on and off the field or court of competition.  This recognition will help maintain the spirit, pride, and sense of community as well as serve as a historical account of the great athletic traditions and accomplishments of Hudson Catholic High School.  

All persons selected to receive this honor will have a banner hung on the wall in the "Rocky" Pope Gymnasium with their name and sport(s) in which they participated throughout their years at Hudson Catholic. 

The Wall of Honor Dinner and Induction Ceremony takes place every 2-3 years.

Athletes are eligible for nomination 5 years after their class graduation.  They must be in good standing or in special circumstances as determined by the Selection Committee Members.  Such athletes must have competed in an NJSIAA-sanctioned varsity sport and must have excelled in such sport. Among the accomplishments taken into account will be individual (all-Conference, all-Region, all-State, all-National) and team accomplishments, individual school or team records held, and impact on teams and the overall athletic program at Hudson Catholic High School during their era and accomplishments thereafter. 

Nomination is also open to coaches and administrators who must have participated with distinction and/or made significant contributions to athletics at Hudson Catholic High School, as evidenced, for example, by the success of their teams and the acknowledgment of their former student-athletes.  Such persons shall be eligible for nomination beginning five years after they have left Hudson Catholic High School for any reason, or in special circumstances as determined by the Committee Members. As determined by the Committee Members, Contributors will also be considered for nomination based on their service and dedication to the athletic programs at Hudson Catholic High School.   

A candidate may be nominated for Wall of Honor membership by any member of the community.  The nomination process is open until  October 1^st, of the school year when the Induction Ceremony takes place. Nomination forms are available for download by clicking on the Nomination Form button below. 

Nominations will be considered and voted upon by the committee for the next Wall of Honor during the early part of the 2023-2024 school year.  Once presented as an eligible nominee, a candidate who is not elected shall automatically be reconsidered annually until he/she has been considered for five years.  Thereafter, re-nomination may occur at any time.
