How to Apply to Hudson Catholic Regional High School

Below are some guidelines to help you through the application process.  Please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Admissions if you have any questions.

September - November

1. Register for the Cooperative Admissions Examination @ www.coopexam.org.  
   *Students are encouraged to select Hudson Catholic Regional High School as their test site.
   Hudson Catholic’s school code is 823.
    
2. Attend Hudson Catholic’s Open House on:
   Sunday, September 30, 2012 @ 2:00 p.m
   Wednesday, October 24, 2012 @ 7:00 p.m.
    
3. Complete and submit the Hudson Catholic Regional High School Application for Admission.

   The application deadline is Friday, December 7, 2012.
    
4. Submit the 9th Grade Applicant Record form to your elementary school ( Public school students only) before the end of the 1st marking period. Students are strongly encouraged to select Hudson Catholic Regional High School as their 1st or 2nd school choice on the 9th Grade Applicant Record.

5. Complete and submit the Application for Financial Aid.  The applications are available www.hudsoncatholic.org or may be picked up at the school.  The application deadline is Saturday, December 15, 2012. Students who are offered admission to Hudson Catholic and who qualify for assistance, will be notified as to whether or not they will receive financial aid with their acceptance letter.  Students who do not select Hudson Catholic as their 1st or 2nd choice and/or who submit the financial aid application after the deadline, will only be considered for financial aid after they have registered at Hudson Catholic.   
    
6. Cooperative Admissions Examination (COOP) is on Friday, November 09, 2012.
   *Students are encouraged to select Hudson Catholic Regional High School as their 1st or 2nd choice.
    
7. Register to be a “Hawk for a Day” (Optional, but strongly recommended).
   Hawk for a Day is an important part of the Hudson Catholic Regional High School application
   process.  It provides an opportunity for prospective students to experience Hudson Catholic by
   participating in classes and meeting students and faculty. 
   Hawk for a Day Applications are available @ www.hudsoncatholic.org.

Please note:  Students who apply to Hudson Catholic after the November Cooperative Admissions Examination deadline must contact the Office of Admissions to schedule a testing appointment.  The cost of the test is $50.00 and will not be administered until January 2013.

Transfer Students

Students who wish to transfer to Hudson Catholic Regional High School must submit the following information:

1. Completed Application for Admission.
2. All school records for the present school year, as well as the two previous years of school records.
   (Transcript, Attendance, Discipline, Test Scores, and other pertinent school related information).
