Football Banquet
Dear Hawk Football Alumnus,
The annual Hudson Catholic Football Banquet and Wall of Fame Dinner will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009, at 7 P.M. in Castle Hall at Hudson Catholic. It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season, renew old friendships, and share memories. It is an honor for our players to rub elbows with the men who played before them, as well as share a special night with friends and family. The past season saw the Hawks go to the State Finals with many outstanding players who represented Hudson Catholic with pride and honor. Six players were named to the Star Ledger’s All-County Team, while twelve players were named to the All-League Team, as chosen by the Hudson County Football Coaches Association. In addition, Jason Hendricks was named Player of the Year and Offensive Back of the Year. This is the fifth year in a row that we have had the Offensive Player of the Year.

As Head Football Coach, I wish to personally invite you to the dinner. It is important for the current players to meet the men who laid the foundation for Hawk Football. We will be inducting at this year’s dinner Len Anglin, ’69, John Lionakis, ’96, and Jim Green, ’85. I hope you will be able to attend. Deadline for reservations is January 20, 2009.
